Sweet Cedar Cabin

This was the PERFECT getaway to escape the Las Vegas heat! Kaelyn and Frank’s cabin was the little slice of heaven we were looking for. It was not only sparkling clean, but it felt warm and inviting. They thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable. We were traveling with our two flat coated retrievers and 2.5 year old son .. which is no easy task. There are so many great things I can say about this place, so I’ll break it up. Location: Although this house is close to many neighbors, you actually feel very secluded and private. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet. There is also a beautiful trail within walking distance of the house. Our two year old could walk it and he had a blast! And if you forgot anything back home, it’s a very quick drive to the nearest grocery store. The Cabin: I am fairly picky when I stay at Airbnb’s because I want the experience to feel special when we travel. This place is so cute! The playful yet modern decor with elements of the outdoors.... it really is a beautiful and cozy space. Also, having two bathrooms is so helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and cooking utensils. We cooked almost all of our meals during our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We slept so well! It was such an unexpected treat that they not only have Netflix but they also have Disney+ which was exciting for us to be able to watch Hamilton the night it premiered! Everything in the house was meticulously labeled which is such a huge help when you are navigating a new space. I love that level of organization. The hosts: Super responsive and soooo nice! They even sent us cookies on check in day! We liked being able to let ourselves into the house but it was also nice to be able to quickly contact our hosts with questions. All in all, it was a completely successful weekend at Sweet Cedar and we will definitely be looking to stay here again! Thank you, Kaelyn and Frank, for everything!
