A little about your hosts.

We are Frank and Kaelyn. It has always been our dream to own a cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA. A place that we could take our family and enjoy the crisp air that you can only get in the Mountains. The dream became a reality in Fall 2019. We bought the cabin exactly 40 years and 1 week from the date the original owners purchased the cabin in 1979.  Kaelyn is a construction project manager by day and serial DIY-er by night. Frank is a Physical Therapist and is coined the manual labor in the relationship. Together we remodeled this cabin into a space that we can't help but think about all the time. Our girls are young, so we worked diligently on a design that would be sophisticated, but family friendly. It makes all of the remodel work worth it when we open the front door to our modern forest retreat.
